蔺高管，字云平，别号：西窗居士。中国美术家协会会员。1940年生；1960年美院附中毕业；1963年毕业于北京艺术学院美术系国画专业；师从高冠华、白雪石……在校期间就常常去故宫临摹、研究历代名画，力求能从全局上认识中国画。毕业后又师从王雪涛先生学习花鸟画多年，对王派小写意画法有一个全面的认识与理解。在个人的长期艺术实践中，潜心研究中国画的基础理论，个人专著有：1995年著《花鸟画章法入门》（此书1995年由人民美术出版社出版）2012年著《西窗画要十说》（此书2012年由中国書畫出版社出版）。2016年著《蔺高管流动水墨画选集（花鳥系列）》。（天津人民美朮出版社出版）2017年著《蔺高管流动水墨画选集（黄山系列）》。（天津人民美朮出版社出版）同时经过二十多年的摸索、试验、独创出一种“流动渲染”的渲染方法，这种方法改变了传统渲染方法的工艺流程。传统渲染方法——是先调和好水与墨，然后作画。而流动渲染——是让水与墨在运动中调和。在流动渲染的基础上，蔺高管创新出一种新的画法——“流动水墨画”。“流动水墨画”有一个独特的唯一性：它既不能临摹也无法手工复制。“流动水墨画”为传统水墨画的发展注入了新的内容，在中国水墨画的创新道路中迈出了勇于尝试的一步。
Mr.Lin
Gaozhang, courtesy name Yunping and pseudonym Xichuang Jushi (West
Window Scholar), is a member of the China Artists Association. Born in
1940, he graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Academy of
Fine Arts in 1960 and later obtained his degree in Chinese painting from
the Department of Fine Arts at Beijing Art Institute in 1963, studying
under masters including Gao Guanhua and Bai Xueshi. During his studies,
he frequently visited the Forbidden City to study and copy masterpieces
from various dynasties, striving to gain a comprehensive understanding
of Chinese painting. After graduation, he further studied
flower-and-bird painting under Mr.Wang Xuetao, developing a thorough
grasp of the Wang School’s minimalist freehand brushwork technique.
Through decades of artistic practice, he has dedicated himself to
researching foundational theories of Chinese painting. His publications
include: ×Fundamentals of Flower-and-Bird Painting Composition×
(published by People’s Fine Arts Publishing House in 1995), ×Ten
Essentials of Xichuang Painting× (published by China Calligraphy &
Painting Publishing House in 2012), ×Selected Mobile Ink Paintings by
Mr.Lin Gaozhang (Flower-and-Bird Series)× (published by Tianjin People’s
Fine Arts Publishing House in 2016), and ×Selected Mobile Ink Paintings
by Mr.Lin Gaozhang (Huangshan Series)× (published by Tianjin People’s
Fine Arts Publishing House in 2017). Over twenty years of
experimentation, he pioneered a revolutionary "mobile rendering"
technique that redefines traditional painting processes. Unlike
conventional methods where water and ink are mixed before application,
mobile rendering achieves harmony through dynamic movement. Building on
this innovation, Mr.Lin developed the unique "mobile ink painting"
technique, which cannot be replicated through imitation or manual
reproduction. "Flowing ink painting" has injected new content into the
development of traditional ink painting, and has taken a bold step in
the innovative road of Chinese ink painting.
